Finisher's paint general instructions


(Some item numbers are not matching with the product number in RT inventory)



1: Foundation White:

For foundation in white. 2 or 3 layers are good to cover the material color.


2: Foundation Pink

Good foundation for red finish painting like Ferrari


3: Foundation Blue

Good foundation for silver finish painting to recreate metal


4: Foundation Cream

Good foundation for the paints that changes finishing taste when painted layer on layer, like White, Yellow, Ivory and Jaguar Green.


5: Foundation Gray

Can be used as glossy surfacer. This paint does not include putty component so it can not be used for resin & metal as a primer.


6: Carbon Black Matt

For recreating carbon materials such as suspensions, inner panels, wheels, under chassis and other.


7: Semi-Gloss Black

Semi-Gloss Black paint, very smooth. Needs complete stiring up.


8: Pure Black

Gloss Black paint, very strong black layer.


9: Pure Yellow

Gloss Yellow with strong layer. Can be mixed with other paints as a basic color.


10: Pure Green

Gloss Green produced straight from paint material wiothout mixture. Good for UK cars.


11: Pure Blue

Gloss Blue produced straight from paint material without mixture. Good for Tyrell 6 wheeler and Countach.


12: Pure Red

Gloss Red relatively bright. Good for Honda NSX, Mitsubishi GTO, and recent Ferrari 360 Modena and 550 Maranelo.


13: Bright Red

Brightest red. Good for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (after model 5), Ferrari F310B. Finishing taste changes as it paints on top of another.


14: Silk Red

Standard red. Good for Ferrari F40, F50, F310 early and late.


15: Rich Red

Relatively thick red. Good for 80's Ferrari F-1, 512BB and 246 Dino.


16: Deep Red

Thickest red. Perfectly fit for Alfa Romeo.


17: Ivory White

White with slightly mixed with cream. Good for 60's and 70's white, like HONDA RA F-1 and other old schools.


18: Fine Silver

Silver paints with super small paint particle. Bright metal finish. Suitable for large area paint like body, rather than small parts.


19: CLK Silver

A.k.a German Silver. Relatively dark silver. Become very unique finish when the founation is done in either gold, black, blue and brown.


20: Light Gun Metal

Good for engine, and the area where to make difference from other silvers. Also suitable for Brown Tyrell 020 and KPGC Skyline.


21: Blitz Blue

Thick blue of Mild Seven.


22: Sky Blue

Thin blue of Mild Seven.


23: Blue Purple

Raybrig NSX violet.


24: Lemon Yellow

Gloss Lomon Yellow produced straight from paint material wiothout mixture.
Close to Jordan Yellow.


25: Deep Yellow

Thick Yellow. Good for Camel, Lotus99T. Can be used for Williams F14 and later when mixed with Pure Yellow.


26: Brilliant Green

Vivid fresh green. Suitable for Castrol green, Benneton B192, B193.


27: Blight Blue

Rothmans Blue of FW16 and later model. Completely different from Porsche 956 counterpart.


28: West Black

Dark Gray Metallic. Good for MacLaren MP4/12 and later for most dark black part. Needs complete stiring up.


29: Formura French Blue

French Blue, suitable for Matora, Gordini and other old French cars.


30: Chrome Silver

Rough Silver. Finishes like metal when painted on small parts.


31: Blue Gold

Fine cold gold. Suitable for Jordan 196.


32: Red Gold

Fine warm gold. Suitable for BBS wheels.


33: Silver Pearl Liquid

Basic pearl finish material to make metalic colors. Mix it with other colors.


34: Gold Pearl Liquid

Basic pearl finish material to make metalic colors. Mix it with warm colors like red, green and yellow.


35: Prost Blue

Metalic Blue, suitable for AP01.


36: AP Blue

Developped & sampled from original AP grand-prix. For advanced modellers.


37: Sparkling Blue

Metalic & pearl blue for Subaru Impreza.


38: Greenish Blue

Metalic Green for Repsol color.


39: Metalic Indigo

Indigo with rough metalic, good for European to American cars.


40: Seaside Blue

Metalic & pearl blue, good for R34 GT-R Skyline.


41: Jaguar Green

Developped & sampled from Jaguar original paints.


42: MP4 Red

Includes Foundation white, Red and Fluorescent pink. Foundation is done in White, then red, followed by the fluorescent pink for finish to recreate MP4/4 and other fluorescent red.


43: Formula red

A set of 2 bottles, Red & Orange. Use orange for foundation then finish with the red, to recreate Ferrari F310B Marlboro red.


44: Italian red 5 color set

A set of Bright red, Pure red, Rich red, Silk red, Deep red, pure thinner


45: Foundation White L

Bigger bottle of Foundation white (equivalent to 4 bottles in regular size)


46: Acrylic Primer Surfacer White

Very thick liquid primer surfacer, good for resin & metal priming. Needs airbrush with strong air pressure.


47: Auto Clear

Hard, clear and quick dry. Can be polished after dry with compound or abrasives. Comes with 110cc pure thinner.


48: Auto Clear (2 bottle set)

A set of 2 bottle of Auto clear.


49: Urethane Clear GP1

Urethane clear + hardener + urethane thinner set. Can be polished. Over layer must be done within 24 hours otherwise it makes crack. Mix rate is Urethane Clear GP01 : Hardener = 10 : 1


50: Urethane Clear GP2

Urethane Clear + hardener + urethane thinner set. Can not be polished. Over layer must be done within 24 hours otherwise it makes crack. Mix rate is Urethane Clear GP02 : Hardener = 2 : 1


51: Pure Thinner (110cc or 250cc)

Very thick thinner, enough to melt plastic but it dries before it does so it sticks extremely well on plastic. Great finish in gloss paint.


52: Tool Washer 250cc

Strong Detergent liquid, can wash out not only laquar paints but urethane paints too.


53: Wax cleaner

Wash out the wax on the resin kits. Just pour some on the cloth and wipe the parts.


54: Power Primer

Perfect primer for metal, etching parts, resin parts. Originally developped for factory steels so do not store it in metal bottle (airbrush cup) way too long otherwise it affects the metal.


55: Masking sol clearner 20cc

Use it as a coating on the brush. Soak the brush into the Masking sol clearner and then use the brush for masking sol. You can wash the sol out easily with water. This clearner can not wash out the dried masking sol.


56: Compound Hard 30g

Rough compound, can be used as initial stage of filing instead of abrasives.


57: Compound Fine 30g

Fine compound, can be used in the mid stage to final finish.Equivalent to abrasive in 1500.


58: Compound Micro 30g

Extreme fine compound with wax component mixed in.


59: Compound set

A set of hard, fine, micro compound + polishing cloth.


60: Polish Cloth 36 x 27cm (2pcs)

No seaming cloth. Washable.


61: Silicon thinner

Mix full bottle of this thinner in the silicon 1.0kg to make it very runny so that bubbles will come out easily.


62: Lumi Red

Equivalent to the fluorescent red used in Ferrari.


63: Pearl White

Pearl paint with very small pearl particles.


64: Purple

Very neutral purple, good for Nissan Z, Porsche Carrera.


65: Brown

Regular brown paint, suitable for sheet, wooden panel, body and hair, ground and tree.


66: Chocolate

Deep Brown, good for European cars, interiors, panels and other.


67: Pepper mint

Soft green, good for French cars & west coast Cal version.


68: Lavender

Bright purple, good for British cars like Sunbeam and Austin.


69: Salmon Pink

Bright pink, good for Citroen, Renault.


70: Turcoiz

Sky blue for F-1 Sauber Petronus.


71: Layton Blue

Blue Green, perfectly suitable for F-1 Layton House.


72: Formula Green

Italina green, suitable for Benetton B194 and Tyrell 001.


73: Urethane Clear GP1 mini bottle set

Small bottle set of Urethane Clear GP1, good amount for 1 kit in 1/20.
